Here are a few tables containing the important information for interconversion of organic functional groups based on the OCR specification. These are useful for synthesis questions, including multi-step reaction pathways. Many students find these simple binary interconversions easier to revise than mind maps, they can be worked on by the cover-recall-reveal method. I couldn’t find up-to-date information anywhere in a table format, so I made my own. I cross-referenced the reagents and conditions with the most recent (2017-) mark schemes for each test specification.
